We’ll explore the rhythms, the groove, and the joy of dancing to live percussion. You’ll learn the foundations of salsa in a supportive, welcoming space where every dancer is seen and valued.

A special beginner course that teaches salsa and musicality as one integrated skill
Learn the essentials of salsa with a focus on technique, groove, and musicality, so you build real confidence from the start. Every week includes guided social dancing practice and jamming sessions, helping you feel comfortable dancing with others right away.

Learn with the rhythm right in the room
Our classes always include live percussion, so you don’t just hear the music — you feel it. You’ll also discover the cultural roots, stories, and traditions behind salsa dancing and the music, providing the necessary context and meaning. You will also get the chance to play the instruments yourself!

Our next course begins on Tuesday, 18th November at 7pm. Each class is 75 minutes and forms part of a progressive 5-week cycle.
We also offer individual learning track with private tutoring, which allows you to progress quicker and get tailored dance and music training and mentorship. Just message us!
After the beginner class, a Musicality Jam (open level) follows. You’re welcome to stay a passive listener, or take a short break and enjoy a snack at the pub next door — whatever feels best for you.
From 9:30pm we open our doors to social dancing and jamming. It’s a space to dance, play the instruments, connect and just feel the collective joy of salsa.
